JUN. JUL. 2020 II for the purpose, a dedicated logistics and communications system and, above all, a rapid response task force. Instead, the United Nations agency that presides over public health, the World Health Organization, is only tasked with studying epidemics and following their course, but not with intervening to repress them. So, now we pick up the pieces of what the Coronavirus tsunami destroyed. All CIC members have resumed - some before others - their activity. There is one thing, however, that we all have in common: we must realise that at this time our customers, the restaurants, pizzerias, delicatessens and bars are those in the most difficulty. Liquidity is the problem. It’s true, we still have the attendance problem. Patrons aren’t as many as they were previously. But we must be hopeful, and wait for the panic to pass.
