An opportunity to find the latest news in the food industry, Italian and foreign excellence and many ideas for entrepreneurs of Ho.Re.Ca. By Maddalena Baldini From 11 to 13 March last, the 2nd edition of GF1 Open Doors took place, the event created by Silvestro and Stefano Panconi, held at the Avenza - Carrara sales point and dedicated to a course specializing in equipment and food and wine. An experience that, after the success of 2018, has allowed GF1 customers to visit the exhibition stands of the best Italian and foreign brands, learn about new products on the market, discover ad hoc solutions and attend demonstrations and cooking shows held by known professionals, all in the large demonstration room of 150 square meters of the headquarters in Avenza. The three days proved to be the ideal solution for customers and friends of GF1 who wanted to learn and experience firsthand the techniques of cooking and preparation methods, as well as tasting and sampling wines, spirits, drinks, meats and cheeses of the best brands. “The second edition of the Open Doors 2019, after the good result of last year, has set itself the goal of attracting and involving a greater number of professionals in the field of Ho.Re.Ca., both among the customers of GF1 and outside it,” said Stefano Panconi, “In addition, we wanted to propose the products and innovations in conjunction with the arrival of the summer season and, given the excellent response of the public, we can say satisfied.” An event that has confirmed the enthusiasm of GF1 and its professionalism, all supported by the increase in the number of companies that have joined and by the participation in the many appointments scheduled in the 3 days of the open, all within the large demonstration hall of Avenza opened about a year ago. PROFESSIONALISM AND FUN “Among the stands have passed the most important names,” continues Stefano, “such as Chef Gaetano Ragunì (General Manager of the Italian National Chefs), Chef pizzaiolo Nicola Demo, Chef Claudio Menconi (already gold medal at the World Cooking Championships and famous TV personality), Chef Deborah Corsi (JRE) and Emanuela Ghinazzi, Chef pastry chef Alvaro Bido, bartenders Stefano Talice and Ezio Canetti and many others.” The relationship and contact with the public is the backbone of GF1 and also for this reason the Open Doors 2019 has given very positive results. In addition to meetings and demonstrations, the festival will also be animated by live broadcasts on Radio Nostalgia, with the duo Andrea Secci (famous Tuscan DJ) and chef Marcello Zaccaria: an partnership to reveal with fondness to listeners the background and secrets of the GF1 event. “We have always wanted to stand out in the choice of companies that work with us and in the best products to offer customers,” says Panconi, “the big Italian and foreign brands are flanked by small or medium-sized companies able to put on the market excellent products, with an excellent quality-price ratio. Of course, it’s a job that requires time and commitment for the GF1 but the results come, and we’re happy about that.” Goodness, taste, guaranteed food and ‘friendship’ towards employees and customers, here are the secrets of the Panconi group, obviously without neglecting the best of the territory to which GF1 belongs, namely Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia. WE ALWAYS WANT TO IMPROVE A path that winds its way through stands, typical products, prestigious brands with a special focus on the value of food and wine and equipment. Porte Aperte 2019 was the ideal opportunity to find in one place everything that the restaurant needs: services, product information, contacts and mutual trust. “We want to give our best and continue to satisfy our customers in the best possible way, we want to support entrepreneurs in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector. also in the strategic choices for their premises or restaurant,” states Stefano, “We would like customers to benefit so much from what they have seen here and to feel the need to return, year after year, in search of that idea that they cannot find elsewhere. This for us is innovation.” A litmus test that resulted in the MAGAZINE
